When is the best time to commence calmbirth classes?

The calmbirth classes usually start between 25 - 37 weeks.

Does my birth partner have to attend the calmbirth classes?

Having a baby is a shared journey. It would be best that your birthing partner attends the classes as they will be instrumental in assisting you on the day and being able to bond in that very special way prior to your baby's birth and after your little one is born. Your birthing partner will learn these techniques with you, being able to help throughout pregnancy and on your baby's birthday. These are life skills for all to share and use.

What is included in the calmbirth classes?

The calmbirth classes include 13 hours of class contact time, with further availability at the completion of the classess for reinforcement, support and advice.

You will receive the calmbirth book, calmbirth relaxation CD's and other CD's to aid relaxation.

You will also be presented with further valuable information about pregnancy, labour, birth and parenting taken from years in the field of midwifery to best aid you in preparation for parenthood.

How many couples attend the classes together?

Usually classes consist of 3-4 couples. I try to keep the groups small and intimate to give you the attention you deserve.

When are the classes held?

Classes start 9am - 3.30pm over a full weekend.
